Recently, BPEG has win the bid of the largest single capacity unit of enclosed busbar of Baihetan hydropower plant, including 16 sets of 1000MW enclosed bus, which has achieved the leading position among large hydropower plants in the world.
Located in Ningnan county, Sichuan province, and Qiaojia county, Yunnan province and besides Wudongde hydropower plant, Baihetan hydropower plant is the second class hydropower plant developed by? Three Gorges Corporation on Jinsha River. Being the main plant of west-east electricity transmission project, this hydropower plant aims to generate electricity and prevent flood at the same time.. There are 16 sets of single capacity1000MW Vertical shaft mixed water wheel generator set (8 sets on each side). The total capacity is 16000MW and the hydropower plant plans to run in 2020.
Baihetan hydropower plant is the largest unit capacity in the world.
