MSCV & SVG
Magnetic Static Var Compensator (MSVC) is shunt connected in the AC power system with rated voltage of 6 ~ 500kV to improve the system power factors, adjust system voltage, restrain harmonic wave, and lower line loss in order to improve the power grid availability. This equipment controls the system voltage and reactive power accurately, and is the advanced upgrading product for existing var compensators.
Static Var Generator (SVG) is the representative product of the most advanced technology in reactive power compensation field at present. SVG is shunt connected to the power grid and functions as a variable reactive power flow, whose reactive power tracks the loading change quickly, and automatically compensate the system reactive power both inductively and capacitively.
› Quick Response: Reaction speed <30ms, satisfying speed requirement for reactive compensators.
› Reliable Operation, Free from Maintenance: Stable in operation and long service life. Maintenance-free after operation, and strong overloading capacity.
› Economical: Simple structure and relatively little required space. Low self active loss of 0.5-1%. Realization of unattended operation.
› Safety: Using low-voltage thyristor as adjusting device, which is unlikely to be sparked over, and reliable in operation.
› Low Noise: Optimized design enable reducing iron-core magnetic density (degree of saturation) and magnetic leakage. Noise is around 65db.
› Quicker Response Speed: Utilization of instantaneous reactive power algorithm and high- speed turnoff power electronic device IGBT realize switching from rated inductive reactive to rated capacitive reactive within 5ms.
› More Reliable Circuit Structure: Adopts the H-type unit inverter series-connected chain- structure with higher reliability, flexibility, and more convenient for maintenance.
› More Comprehensive in Monitoring Functions: Provides man-machine interface and RS485 communication interface, which realize automatic unattended operation and intelligent monitoring.
