On January 13th, the 100 MW/200 MW four quadrant power regulation system jointly developed by the company, Tsinghua University, and China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. passed the technical achievement appraisal organized by the China Electrical Engineering Society.

Through strong collaboration with Tsinghua University and China Electric Power Engineering Corporation, we have continuously carried out collaborative innovation, promoted deep integration of industry, academia, research and application, and jointly tackled key issues in the 100 MW four quadrant power regulation system, mastering the core technology of the system. He expressed the hope that BPEG will continue to deepen collaboration, accelerate the application of demonstration projects, and make greater contributions to the construction of a new power system.

At the appraisal meeting, the project team gave a detailed report on the development of a 100 MW/200 MW four quadrant power regulation system and provided detailed answers to the questions raised by experts; The data review team reviewed the relevant documents and provided a positive conclusion. After discussion and Q&A, the technological achievement has been unanimously recognized by appraisal experts in terms of topology structure, technical solution, design innovation points, and product testing.

The expert group unanimously believes that the achievements of this project can provide important technical support for the consumption of new energy, reaching the international leading level in the field of 100 megawatt level high-voltage direct hanging energy storage technology, and agrees to pass the technical achievement appraisal.

Academician Chen Weijiang fully affirmed the research results of this technology, believing that the four quadrant power regulation system can provide power compensation, regulation, and support for the randomness, waveform, and uncertainty of new energy.
