On August 28th, Maurício Tolmasquim, Director of Energy Transformation and Sustainable Development, Clovis Correa, General Counsel, Daniel Pedroso, Executive Manager, and Marinho Ayres Fisher, General Manager of Downstream Information and Communication Technology, were appointed by Petrobras (Brazilian National Petroleum Corporation),Wu Zhiqi, General Manager of Market Investment Department of CEEC(China Energy Engineering Group Equipment Co., LTD) and his delegation conducted research at BPEG(Beijing Power Equipment Group Ltd,. The subsidiary of CEEC), Yang Yuemin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Energy Equipment and Chairman of BPEG, attended the meeting.

Yang Yuemin welcomed the visit of Maurice Tolmaschim, the director of Brazilian National Petroleum Corporation, and introduced the company's development situation in conjunction with the new energy business. He stated that CEEC is a world leader in new energy businesses such as hydrogen and energy storage. As an important power equipment manufacturing enterprise under CEEC, BPEG has a history of 71 years and has unique advantages in three categories of products: power generation auxiliary equipment, power grid equipment, and new energy equipment. Based on traditional business, it has anchored the five major technological development directions of new power systems and achieved a number of technological achievements. In the field of electrolytic water hydrogen production, we have the capability of system design, independent manufacturing of core equipment, and complete supply. We focus on researching off grid hydrogen production technology, improving the utilization rate of new energy, significantly reducing the production cost of green hydrogen, and enhancing the competitiveness of long-term energy storage business.

Maurice Tolmaschim introduced the development of Petrobras' hydrogen energy business. He pointed out that Petrobras is both the country's largest hydrogen production company and the largest hydrogen user. In the future, we will increase investment in new energy electrolysis for hydrogen production, and the market has great potential in the coming years. He expressed great anticipation for in-depth cooperation with the company.

At the meeting, participants discussed the entry points for new energy, green hydrogen, and subsequent cooperation.

During the research period, Tormaskim and his team visited the hydrogen energy testing platform, power electronics testing hall, and electrolytic cell assembly workshop in the factory area.
