October 17th, 2023，BPEG held a grand hydrogen equipment development forum and a press conference for the 1500 standard square meter alkaline electrolytic cell. More than 30 enterprise users, research institutes, leaders and experts from government and industry associations were invited to attend the event, as well as company leaders and relevant department heads.

Yang Yuemin, Chairman of BPEG, pointed out the company has successfully developed a complete set of high-power alkaline electrolytic cells and hydrogen production system equipment. The company will continue to carry out technical research on key indicators such as safety, reliability, flexibility, and low energy consumption of hydrogen production systems, promoting high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.

At the new product launch ceremony, Yang Yuemin announced that the company's 1500 standard square meter alkaline electrolytic cell was officially launched. The designed hydrogen production capacity of the electrolytic cell is 1500 standard cubic meters per hour. Under rated operating conditions, the DC energy consumption is 4.3 kilowatt hours per standard cubic meter of hydrogen, and the maximum hydrogen production can reach 2000 standard cubic meters per hour.

Subsequently, representatives from the company, Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, Peking University, Electric Power Planning and Design Institute, and North China Electric Power University presented their respective titles at the Hydrogen Energy Equipment Development Forum, including "Development of Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Equipment", "Development of High Power Fully Controlled Hydrogen Production Power Supply Products", "Standards and Detection Exploration for Stable Transient Characteristics Testing of Large Electric Hydrogen Production Equipment", and "Hydrogen to Electric Energy Conversion Materials and Technologies" The main reports of "Implementation Path for Promoting Diversified Application of Hydrogen Energy" and "Construction and Some Reflections on China's Green Hydrogen Supply System" are elaborated on the current status of hydrogen energy technology equipment manufacturing, hydrogen production standard system, hydrogen to electricity conversion materials and technology, and the development prospects of the hydrogen energy industry chain.

BPEG will take the Hydrogen Energy Equipment Development Forum and New Product Launch as a new starting point, relying on electrolytic water hydrogen production technology and an 8-megawatt alkaline electrolytic water hydrogen production test and detection platform, continue to deepen the development of safe, reliable, flexible, efficient hydrogen production system equipment.
